After my racist friend has apologized, he does his hate talk again and it's not worth my mental health to keep talking to him for the sake of my interest. This is going to be hard because it's a tough decision I am making but I am so burned out now I can't handle it anymore. Then it affects me in real life too because then I am irritable and snapping at my children because of BS from online my friend is doing. I can't just ignore it anymore like I used to without getting upset.

Stop making friends with racists,
My dad is racist too,
He spoke very ill of the neighborhood I lived in because of the "blacks",
That relationship was unhealthy too,
Some people are stupid,
Anyone that dehumanizes an entire neighborhood based on color is not worth your time,

My parents had me believing in about a million doomsday scenarios and conspiracy theories and tried to make me believe in whites being better than everyone else. I'm going over there tomorrow, and plan to move in with my mother (we plan to move to a different town together) but I'm wondering if it's a good idea after all...

Drop him like a hot coal. People holding that much hate in their hearts are highly unlikely to change for someone else's sake. Had to make a similar decision to distance myself from an online friend.

Nowadays with so many people accusing others of being racist
simply for disagreeing, I would rather not get into the political aspect
of this situation ...

... that said, anyone who would keep on bothering you
about something even after having apologized for it
sounds like a toxic person.

It sounds like you've already given this person a chance,
and he's back to his old tricks again, which shows a lack of respect for your boundaries.

You can't keep doing this ...
so don't.

Time to move on without him.
