A tryhard attempt to "mature" a children's game by giving the character a bad attitude, making him cuss, and making him more violent. Mostly appeals to emo 12 year olds. I don't care for Sonic in general, and Shadow is my least favorite part of the franchise.

I prefer Big the cat to any sonic characters. I wish he was in Mario and Sonic Olympic Winter Games.

Shadow is ok though.

I know he was in two games before this but let's not pretend that this game isn't the first thing you think of when you think of the character. So far as unintentional humour goes it's right up there.
