Does anyone else share my special interest in the Big Bang Theory?

That is my favorite show and I could watch it all day. Just wondering if anyone else out there feels the same way.

Funny that you mention that show. Its probably the most talked about show by folks here on WP.

Some love it because the characters are very aspie like. And some hate it, and are offended by it for that same reason.

I got hooked on it for a while. Dont watch it as much as before though now.

I'm not really a big fan of it. It's seems like the typical sitcom to me with bad jokes. And I really don't like the Sheldon character and how he has become the poster boy for autism. He's just mean and rude with no interest in anyone but himself. Somehow that is supposed to be funny or charming. That is not the average person on the spectrum and it gives a bad impression.

I think all the male characters, and a couple of the female ones, are somewhere on the spectrum. Sheldon is just the most autistic.
