I don't understand what I am doing wrong in meeting people but because of my age being 34 young male that I look alot younger when meeting myself and I am a big kid at heart as well. with suffering with Mental Health problems it seems hard to find others with the same interests and hope I can find someone local in the East Midlands U.K

Hi vistauk I have a friend with inconvenience. it doesn't necessarily have to hold you back. What you do need is someone who is mature enough to look past that.

Sharing interests is not essential. In fact it can hold you back. What you need it to be able to enjoy the time together and have enough time to do both. What you may want to do is to try new thing with them, again not essential.
