i don't understand if it is rock or metal but i like it

They're industrial metal. The album Mutter is good, and they have some nice singles like Mein Herz Brennt, America, and Rosenrot. Their biggest influence seems to be Laibach, and it seems like Nitzer Ebb, Einstürzende Neubauten, Ministry, KMFDM, and DAF are other likely influences.

Good band. Lots of great songs. Du Hast, Engel, Sonne, Ich Will, Feuer Frei, Mein Teil, Keine Lust. Plenty of others that I could name. One of the few hard rock/metal bands I like that I haven't seen live yet. I hope to rectify that sometime soon.

My 1st girlfriend was really into em but I never cared for em that much. They're not really my type of music.

Yes like their music well and they have a song in the movie Triple X with Vin Diesel or song from the soundtrack of this movie I should say.

I like Rammstein.

Du Hast is a grossly overrated song, though. I'm more into songs like Du Riechst So Gut and Keine Lust. Oh, and Feuer Und Wasser.
