Does anyone know how common it is for your offspring to not get ASD but have Epilepsy?

I don't have any offspring (f**k that), but nobody I've known with epilepsy had autism. I didn't think there was that much overlap that it was rare for that to happen.

I read a stat that 1 in 4 children with ASD will develop seizures and wondered if you could inherit epilepsy from ASD.

I'm pretty sure you don't get epilepsy from autism, I'd think they were both inherited. They're somehow linked in the risk factor (if that's even the right way to word it).

I have epilepsy and my girlfriend also has epilepsy. She is an NT.
