I have been talking with my therapist about having similar feeling concerning a lack of meaning and purpose in life.

He is suggesting that it is up to me to make my own meaning and purpose in my own life, since I will never find it in my apartment.

I think he might be onto something there.

Inherent meaning and purpose versus systematic meaning and purpose

Purpose and meaning inherent to life

A previous licensed clinical social worker told me maybe there is no meaning to life and we are all just trying to get through

That sounds to me pretty practical wise and correct

Anyways it is better to live a functional meaningless life than to live a dysfunctional meaningless life
