I used to play the original Black Ops a lot on Xbox Live in 2011-2012, but the community for that game is dead.

I don't like CoD. The milking of that franchise killed the old school of FPS for many years. With the market saturated with CoD and other lookalikes, I couldn't find any FPS that stood out. It's also one of the reasons why I avoid getting a new Xbox or PlayStation if there's nothing else and just stick with Nintendo and PC

I wish I could actually get a chance to play CoD, at least in its original version. A year or so ago, after a good deal of searching, I managed to find the first CoD game, but after installing it to various PCs (a Windows XP machine, a Windows 7 machine and a Windows 8.1 machine), I've been able to get the starting menu screen which invites me to choose a skill level, then it won't let me proceed any further. Some research on the problem suggests it may be a 'driver' issue, but I don't know how to proceed from there. Very annoying.

The only other CoD game I've played is Finest Hour on the PS2, which was quite challenging but very enjoyable. I've also got CoD 2 for the XBox 360, which I ought to get around to trying sometime.

I enjoy the single player campaign, but won't even mess with multiplayer. The people I've known that stream this game were always getting mad playing it, so it never sounded fun to me.

I've only played Black Ops 1 on Recruit, so I don't think I am.
