I actually like some aspects of Ohio. The landscapes are very nice and there are tons of thick forests to get lost in. However, the people here are abhorrent. Just yesterday I saw a Confederate flag hanging from someones front porch with the words "get r done" emblazoned on the front. I was like "That's BS. You can't do that. It's just plain evil." So later that night at about 2 a.m. my friend and I got some tree-branch trimmers and cut it down. We took it back to his house and burned it in the backyard. I felt like I did humanity a favor.
Aside from the hick population and the wonky weather it's not so bad of a place, though.
Ahh. We live in different parts of Ohio then. Around here, it's farmland, farmland, and farmland (or, in the order of the street I live on: horses, corn, horses, corn, sheep, cows, corn, soybean, horses/mule, corn, hay, soybean, corn, soybean, hay, horses, hay, horses). Trees are pretty scare (I actually love forests, and there was one where I used to live in Georgia. There aren't any around here).
The supply of people are here would never deign themselves with putting up a confederate flag - what would the neighbors think?! - but they're quite racist in their comments and actions. The physical apperance is just cleaned up a touch.
