There's nothing like an explanation of gender to make me feel like everyone else gets it and I've been given the short shift.

If I could explain it there wouldn't be a problem.

I'll be glad when I'm dead and I don't have to worry about being "people like me".

"You just have that gay vibe about you".

....What does that even mean? :?

I would think it means you don't fit the stereotypes of gay people. But stereotypes are just stereotypes, they don't apply to everyone. I've had people say similar things to me and I don't like it when they do.

I recently found out that I have Asperger's. I'm a trans lesbian with depression, anxiety, and adhd, and this just feels like one more thing on my plate. It's a lot to try to juggle, and I'm not entirely sure what to do. I feel pretty broken/wrong, and it's been eating away at me lately. Any ideas on how to deal?

^ There's lots of ideas on this forum in general.
What were you looking for in specific?
I find myself getting all awkward about genderf*ck stuff - the other day, for example, some dude walked in on me putting makeup on in a men's room, and gave me the most horrified WTF look. Kept giving me shifty glances from the urinal (yeah, he's standing there in an open space with a stranger with his dick out and I'm the one out of line) and I made a run for it. Awkward, to say the least. I run into this a lot. I feel awkward, self-conscious and weird about seemingly doing things all the time recently that are at odds with whatever gendered situation I'm in.
