Probably a strange topic. I guess you could also call them anti-suicide songs.

Before anyone asks, I'm not having a problem. I've been listening to songs like these my whole life. I just really like them, that's all.

Here are a few I can think of:

-Jumper by Third Eye Blind
-Adam's Song by Blink 182
-Hold On by Good Charlotte
-Don't Jump by Tokio Hotel
-Never Too Late by Three Days Grace
-Put the Gun Down by Andy Black

Do you know these or any others?

Probably the most famous one of all, so famous I think it's been parodied quite a few times:

Adam's Song seems more about contemplating suicide than not giving up

I got a couple, but these two are probably my main ones. The first one is maybe a bit overplayed, but I really love her voice:

Amebix - Not really, Adam's Song is more of an anti-suicide song...but I could see how it doesn't sound that way since it's written in the form of a suicide note. The writer was inspired by a teen suicide letter he read in a magazine, and also the loneliness and depression he was facing at the time. But the song ends with more hopeful lyrics - instead of continuing to reflect on the past, it talks about the future and having a better outlook.

Mark Hoppus (the writer) said, "But "Adam's Song", the heart of the song is about having hard times in your life, being depressed, and going through a difficult period, but then finding the strength to go on and finding a better place at the other side of that." He made this comment after making a statement about a teen that killed himself with the song playing on indefinite repeat.

I know you didn't ask for all that. I just felt the need to explain. I'm sorry if I annoyed.

I think Avril Lavigne does the original, but I like this version better because I am a huge Glee lover :D

my personal favorite song, by far - not even just for the topic.

i guess you can literally google "hold on" and find a bunch of songs about not giving up lmao
