Hello all,

Before my university course commences in September, the university is organising a summer school, in July, for the new students who have Autism or Asperger Syndrome. It's 3 days long and they haven't released a lot of information yet but I know I'll get to stay in a hall of residence for 2 nights with other students who have Autism/Asperger's (which sounds awesome to me!)

Do you guys have any advice or tips on how I can make a good impression on a group of autistic students? I see this as a relatively great opportunity to make some good new friends, based on past friendships I've had with other aspies.

Uh, well, the way I made friends in my dorm full of NT's was: popcorn. I made a bag of popcorn in the dorm microwave and put it in a bowl with some butter. Other girls showed up like magic, and we talked. Then there were cookies. Then someone made coffee. Then somehow we all ended up watching a movie.
