Anybody here from Toronto want to meet up, have a drink (alcohol, coffee, tea, whatever floats your boat) and practice socializing in a safe, non-judgemental environment? Kinda like a meetup for people with trouble dealing with social situations. I have been meaning to start one, but I am too broke to do it though the MeetUp website O:-)

I noticed this is old but...

I would not mind. I actually organize a group through Meetup and we meet in Toronto often: https://www.meetup.com/asc-toronto/

I saw that actually, its what gave me the idea. But when I looked there meetings were always just the FeminAUTS for Women and Femmes, or an online one.

Looking though, I see more variety now :) Maybe I will drop in on a causal hang one when I see it appear next

Yeah, I've been swamped with my graduate studies but will be organizing more very soon. I put up a few per year, usually. Will be doing more once I finish school, for sure.

By the way, the women's one is no longer active. I do not organize that one, anyway.

No longer active? that's a shame :( although they are still scheduled for one a month, but those might be in other places :?

Good luck with your graduate studies, in what I assume is Math :P

Yeah, apparently attendance dwindled, so doing the events became a waste of time/resources. I rarely visit Hamilton these days so would not likely organize anything there currently.

Re: my studies, thanks and it is not math  I signed up nine years ago and cannot change my username, unfortunately. My degree is in Disability Studies.
