Has anyone around here read Eli Clare's new book (published earlier this year)? It's called Brilliant Imperfection: Grappling with Cure, and it addresses a lot of the nuances and complexities in talking about both the general rejection of cures by disabled activism, and the need to consider cures within the realm of possibility especially if we care about bodily autonomy. I haven't finished reading it yet but hope to do so soon. Please only respond if you've either read the book, plan to read it, or have read his other book (Exile and Pride).

I haven't heard of it but it sounds interesting.
