Just be confident in knowing even if stuff did go down with North Korea, it would be the North that would face total annihilation and unfortunately probably our allies in South Korea & Japan would feel the brunt of any fallout from the regime. They're looking to negotiate too btw, while it might look like we're closer to war with them I think this is an administration that understands negotiating position and I don't think is afraid of face to face diplomacy which previous administrations used as bargaining chip in of its self. South Korea by the way just voted for a president that wants to return to their 'Sunshine policy' with the North so war is looking a lot less likely. Maybe some sort of grand bargain can be made or maybe they just want some food so they shut up.

Yes, that stuff will happen OR NOT HAPPEN, whether you read the news and/or worry about it or not. Therefore there's no point in getting all worked up about it.

Go out and enjoy your life as you can, while you can.

It's spring time! Take a hike. Ride your bike. Go down to your local bar and have a beer or two. That's what I'm going to do, right after I make myself a snack!

The bottom line is, it does not make sense to worry about things you cannot control!

All this past week, I'm feeling more and more suffocated. My parents tell me to stop worrying no matter what. They don't know what the media says about North Korea. I know they are launching an ICBM which cannot be stopped.

^ exactly.
Things will still go down.
There's not a damn thing you can change by panicking about it.

Here's how it goes:

Don't stress over things you can't change because you can't change them.
Don't stress over things you can change because you can change them.

So there's no reason to stress.
