Has anybody here ever tried to make pottery?
I am trying to learn it now, on my 3rd class (meaning 3rd series of classes, not 3rd class session). I am finding it nearly impossible to get the hang of it, while all my classmates are building these perfect bowls, cups, whatever. Yesterday I tried the wheel and my bowl imploded, everyone did fine and it was all their first time too.
I'm starting to realize that physical coordination and hand eye coordination are two different things and I lack them both. Besides which my mind is always racing with too many ideas.
But having said all of that, I really love it and try not to take my failures too hard. I keep thinking that any moment I will at least begin to grasp it.
It's very tactile 
as you might imagine if you haven't done it.
