Hey guys, I'm currently writing a character for a story who is autistic. I'd like to portray her as accurately as possible in relation with the disorder. Could use some help checking that if you guys don't mind :D

The character in question is a girl called Tiffany in a story i'm writing "Little Asian Tiger"

She is based of a friend diagnosed with ASD that I know. Although her traits are rare.

In the 2nd arc of the story, our main character Tim encounters her to which leads to a series of events. Tiffany is autistic, while she has difficulty perceiving emotion and social cues. She is also hypo sensitive and lacks enough sensory stimuli which makes her actively seek action. She gets into breakdowns over periods of low activity due to sensory deprivation.
She is extroverted and wishes to make friends but doesn't exactly know how. As a result she was excessively bullied in school and her adoptive mother had to home school her.

Tiffany encounters Tim when he is investigating a strange occult signal permeating from her town. Tiffany determined to make him her first and bestest friend volunteers to help him against his wishes.
Her interference ruins several attempts of Tim to obtain leads to the source, in which he finally snaps and yells at her. Confused Tiffany departs disappointed.
___
In a later chapter Tim discovers that the crystal Tiffany has been fiddling with was indeed the final ingredient to which the Tiger was seeking to reawake itself.

He confronts her and also saves her from an attack but is injured in the process. Tiffany saves him and is told about the significance of the crystal. Tim explains to her with a degree of difficulty due to her troubles in comprehending speech on what she needs to do. In which she does and saves the town.

Asking if she is worthy of a friend, Tim apologizes and acknowledges the friendship. Tiffany is seen walking off with the crystal walking half worn into her shoes ( a habit she got to increase her discomfort to keep up with her lack of sensory stimuli)

___

Personality: Tiffany is known to be extremely optimistic actively seeking out to befriend others but always fails. She has uncomfortable habits which she does to herself due to hyposensitivity to maximize her sensory stimuli. This includes, wearing her shoes only half way, wrapping her slingbag around her arm as she walks, talking loudly, stimming (random vocalizations and screams). She tends to take things literally and is oblivious to peril, danger and social cues.

Tiffany frequently disturbs Tim to get his attention and try to do something for him out of good will which ends in disaster several times.

For example she spies on Tim playing a video game and plays his account when he goes to bed to help him get a fancy sword he was trying to unlock. Upon waking up Tim finds his game record totally broken and that his account has been suspended due to suspicious activity.

During Tim's birthday he corners a suspect only to be interrupted by Tiffany who wouldn't let him work and insist he celebrate his birthday.
