just thought I would introduce myself.. I'm a special education teacher but haven't worked in a few years due to being disabled by mitochondrial disease which has caused a whole host of major health problems. I have PTSD and also sensory processing disorder, which wasn't diagnosed when I was younger because people didn't have that vocabulary to describe sensory issues. My son has SPD as well and I got diagnosed after he was diagnosed. Now in OT for that, which is pretty helpful.
