The dogs my parents had would eat most any kind of food & the one they have now eats nonfood items. She gets bacon sometimes & eats it just like she eats any other food you give her including her dog food.

I used to have a border collie mix, and Beggin strips were her favorite treat in the whole world. Even though I'm not much of a dog person I still loved her and I have many fond memories of her.

I heard a funny story from my dad about how when he was a kid, a neighbor kid showed him how excited his dog got when he said "snausages". So whenever he went riding past the kid's house, really early or really late, he'd yell "snausages!" and the dog would start barking like mad.
