the main thing that saved me, was that I never had much of a sweet tooth, more a salty/creamy/gravy tooth.

when i was young, did not particularly like sweets. from around age 6 til 10, loved Ramen noodles and similar noodles. so much sodium and MSG. then one day, got sick after eating it. could not stomach it since.
it was not til age 24 or so that i started regularly eating candy.
when i was in grammar school, around 9 years old. used to love spices. ate hot sauce straight from the jar. tried to dilute it with water. my precious lil "mom" caught me.
actually now that i am 34, do not regularly or often eat anything salty, creamy, gravy, or spicy. used to love clam chowder. but that's pretty specific. and have to go to Andronico's for that. the canned version does not taste decent enough. tastes like tin. not fresh enough. but whatever. used to like Pringles, Bugles, flaming hot Cheetos.
now i allow myself seven to 9 servings of desserts per week.
a bit paranoid my restrictive diet has caused chronic fatigue. or maybe the fatigue is a symptom of a disease. whatever. fatigue is a symptom of numerous diseases.
b/c i ain't the nutritional gatekeeper, i can't just eat whatever i want.
and i got limited cash to buy cheap merchandise.
the other thing, when i eat the slightest thing wrong, get a lot of symptoms.
