I'm wanting a job to save and survive when I move for summer or after when I start my course training. The job involves serving all types of ice cream. I've never worked it an ice parlour. Is it pretty easy work?

Hi, I moved the topic to this forum as it should get a better response here.

I think this kind of work should be OK. Easier to deal with than stuff which has to be cooked or fried. You will have to like or tolerate children I should imagine... it sounds like a nice cool summer environment!

Probably not very well paid but can be interesting work if you are OK at working with all kinds of people.

Why don't you go into a parlor and buy a cone, wait around and watch how it works? I do know that there's a lot of verbal processing involved in this kind of job. If you have trouble with long strings of information (I certainly do) then it might difficult. But apart from handling a lot of information at once, it sounds like a relaxing job. Good luck!
