It's much more difficult for me to have Asperger's than it is to be bisexual. LGBTs have gained a lot of rights and acceptance, and it's not really seen as a big deal to be that anymore. Autistic people have barely gotten any rights, and there's still a huge stigma surrounding us. "Autistic" is the go-to insult of choice now for many NTs. People who speak out against LGBT discrimination often still discriminate against autistics. So I don't see it as any more difficult than it would be if I was a straight aspie.

Yes. But I think it's difficult to be autistic and difficult to be queer independently, so obviously it's going to be difficult to be both. What's a real punch in the click is being autistic, trans, genderqueer and bisexual.
But that's the way it is, y'know? I do try not to feel sorry for myself (not always successfully) and embrace what I am with its pros and cons inherent.
