Researchers at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) are initiating an exciting research project and would like your help. We are trying to recruit individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) over the age of 18 to participate in an interview about their engagement with video games.

If you choose to participate in the interview, you will be asked a series of questions that will take you no longer than 2 hours to answer. Interviews will be conducted either in person or on a video call using WebEx. There will be potential for a follow-up phone or WebEx interview that will last no longer than 1 hour. Not everyone who interviews will be contacted for a follow-up interview. All interviews will be recorded. Investigators will transcribe what is said in the interview, then properly destroy these recordings to ensure your privacy.

Participation in this research study is voluntary. There is no anticipated risk to you in participating in this research. Those who are selected for participation will receive a $25 GameStop gift card upon completion of the initial interview.

If you are interested in participating in this interview, please email [email protected] for further information about participating in this research study.

All identifying information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will be known only by the investigators, Adrienne White and Dr. Benjamin Hickerson.

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this project.
