From Doctor Who: Adric and possibly Zoey. But Adric without doubt.

From Walking Dead: Eugene. I don't think I've ever seen a more screen accurate portrayal and it makes me wonder if the actor is on the spectrum.

From Peanuts: Charlie Brown and Marcie.

From Star Trek: Possibly Wesley, at least the way they depicted him in TNGs first season.

From Supernatural: Possibly Becky.

Phileas Fogg from Around the World in 80 Days. Just look at this:

Quote:
Was Phileas Fogg rich? Undoubtedly. But those who
knew him best could not imagine how he had made his fortune,
and Mr. Fogg was the last person to whom to apply for
the information. He was not lavish, nor, on the contrary, avaricious;
for, whenever he knew that money was needed for
a noble, useful, or benevolent purpose, he supplied it quietly
and sometimes anonymously. He was, in short, the least
communicative of men. He talked very little, and seemed
all the more mysterious for his taciturn manner. His daily
habits were quite open to observation; but whatever he did
was so exactly the same thing that he had always done before,
that the wits of the curious were fairly puzzled.

Quote:
He breakfasted and dined at the club, at hours mathematically
fixed, in the same room, at the same table, never taking his
meals with other members, much less bringing a guest with
him; and went home at exactly midnight, only to retire at
once to bed.

Quote:
On this very 2nd of October he had
dismissed James Forster, because that luckless youth had
brought him shaving-water at eighty-four degrees Fahrenheit
instead of eighty-six; and he was awaiting his successor,
who was due at the house between eleven and half-past.

Reply to Everybody:

Doc Brown perhaps. McFly certainly not.

Spock is a special case. Hes like Castiel or Mr Data. Perhaps they act like Aspies in some ways, but its not because they are on the spectrum. Castiel is an angel, Data an android, and Spock an alien who follows an alien philosophy. They are as they are for those reasons, and not because they are Aspies.

The only Harry Potter character I think may be on the spectrum is Neville Longbottom. Luna is a longshot and Newt a NO..

I agree with Fogg. Very interesting.

No need to 'suspect' Eugene; it was revealed in the comics by the creator's comments ("letter hacks") that he is indeed autistic.

Agreed with this. They can all be very relatable because of their similar traits, but you couldn't really call them autistic for that reason. I guess feeling like an "alien" is where WrongPlanet comes from in the first place. :)

Cool. I'm wondering if the actor studied Aspergers.

Charles Wallace Murry and Meg Murry from A Wrinkle In Time
(I think the parents are as well, especially the mother)

I disagree about Castiel. I know he's an angel, but then again, so is Gabriel... And so is Anna... They don't strike me as autistic, but Castiel does. I would speculate that he has some sort of angel Asperger's, which is more common than human Asperger's... Just a theory I like, though. Maybe it's just wishful thinking... probably is. I like connecting to characters.
I would also like to bring up Will Graham from Hannibal, who multiple times claimed to be on the spectrum, before the show chickened out. I loved him and found him relatable. I think it may be even a bit clearer if you read Red Dragon.

That's true.. I wonder if the writers just kinda forgot about the whole "angels don't understand humans" thing they got going at first. Would be funny if the angels were all angelic aspies.

If Spock were human, he'd probably be Aspie. But he isn't human. So he's not Aspie.
