It's been common among Pakistani and Afghan migrants for years where the victims are usually young women who spurn the unwanted advances of a man who in frustration decides to maim the poor girl for revenge.

The problem now is any teenager can load this caustic acid in water pistols and they are almost as dangerous as firearms
