Really it's quite clear that God makes things fall. Intelligent falling. When you drop something, it's not gravity making it fall to the ground, it's God guiding it to fall to the ground.

The best way to counter gravity, is to continually tell good jokes.

Ah, I expect this must be an example of what is called sarcasm.

Down with gravity!

We need to drop the theory of gravity before it drags us down to hell!

Most people think of "gravity" as a "force".

Dictionary definition of Gravity: "the force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass"

However, it's not a force at all.

Physics definition: "In general relativity, gravity is not a force between masses. Instead gravity is an effect of the warping of space and time in the presence of mass".

So, yeah, the dictionary definition as well as common usage is typically a lie.

They talk about up and down as though those words ultimately mean anything, WHICH THEY DON'T !!-!

Well...

My modest proposal for our public school system is this.

Don't get rid of gravity. Just "teach the controversy".

Students should be exposed to that Galileo/Newton stuff about "Gravity".

And they should also be taught the other theory: that the Earth is flat, and that this flat Earth we live on is constantly accelerating upward giving the illusion that there is a "force of gravity" that pulls things down to the Earth.

Young folks should be exposed to both ideas, and should be allowed to decide for themselves.

There is no gravity; the earth sucks.

Clearly we need to teach the controversy and not allow the theory of gravity to be taught unchallenged.

Gravity doesn't exist, the Earth sucks.

Then why is gravity one of the "four fundamental forces"?

Can something still be considered a force if it's caused by something else?

Or could the warping of space be considered a force in itself?

I want this Godless theory of gravity removed from public school textbooks, and a wholesome, Bible based theory to replace it!! !! !!

"lie" insinuates deliberately spread misinformation with intent to mislead or obfuscate.

i like to think of it more as a misconception.

"theory" is a generally misunderstood word.

LOLOLOL! This is the funniest comment in the thread.

But I'm sure there are some things that can counter gravity; anti-gravity chemicals out there yet undiscovered, or whatever. And there's an anti-gravity room at the science museum somewhere in Canada; I forget where.
