Hi all.

I'm making this thread because a lot of conservatives want to ban abortion because it's "murder" or whatever.

Here's the thing. Banning abortion doesn't work. In places where abortion is illegal, women usually get illegal back-alley abortions. Banning abortion is about as effective as banning firearms.

How to Prevent Abortion Like a Pro:

- Give financial aid to poor people. Women often get abortions because they are too poor to support a child.
- Let high schools teach teens about safe sex. "Abstinence-only programs" don't work.
- Make contraceptives easier to obtain. Sandra Fluke did nothing wrong.
- Support LGBT+ rights. Gays couples can't produce children. Most people who get sexual reassignment surgery are permanently sterilized.
- Encourage men to play video games. That way, women won't want to have sex with them anymore.

Bottom Line: Liberals do more to "protect the unborn" than conservatives.
