One of my spoken word poems.... I have others read them on stage as there is no way I'm getting up there.
So, what can I say?
I don't think that there's anything to say.
So many people's words and
so many people's rhymes,
could say more then I could ever say.
I mean even if I had a thousand lifetimes
to find my rhymes,
and pen those lines,
who's to say that I'd really have anything to say?
I do.
People think that if they talk all the time,
that it means they know things or,
that they mean things or,
that they dream things.
But they also think that if you don't speak
then you don't think or at least, hey,
your dreams stink.
Well I think that words are power
and by running your mouth you give away all your strength.
Now if silence is golden, then the noise coming out of your mouth
is made of golden showers.
So don't go pissing in people's pond that you don't know about,
and never think that your inner strength won't run out.
So what can I say?
Nothing.
