Why are women grossed out by the male body?

I guess you are right, it makes sense evolutionary speaking.

I have, only this past weekend, witnessed a large and diverse group of men and women appreciating all shapes and sizes of naked bodies. YMMV, I suppose, but just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I am wondering about the places where you spend your weekends.

Burning Man festival? In the Orgie Dome?

Men can afford to be less particular about who they bang because they're not the ones who have to risk their lives giving birth.

Female chimps are known to be much more vigilant about avoiding incest because they're the ones who would get stuck carrying a screwed-up fetus in their bodies.

Men's bodies don't hold fat well? At least you dont get cellulite.

Men have more collagen and therefore smoother fat appearance whereas women tend to go dimpled in fatty areas of the body especially the thighs. Gets worse as we get older.

My cottage cheese isn't what it was when I was severely overweight, but it's still noticeable. It's not just a girl thing.

What counts for attractive in men is different from women. I haven't changed my mind. But I will concede that ugly men do get more of a free pass than women. To be considered ugly, a woman has to be exceptionally unattractive. Like, 500lbs., warts/moles with little hairs, triple-chins, discolored/rotted/missing teeth, bunyons that have their own bunyons, skin puckered from cellulite so bad it looks like her insides are coming out, mysterious odors, etc. And it's really hard for a lot of people to be very forgiving of that. There's just no coming back from that, no integration or acceptance into society. A guy can be ugly as sin but everyone wants to hold his beer. He's the one you go to when you're toilet's backed up, your car won't start, or when you discover some mutant animal hiding in your shed. He's been married 4 times and has 5 kids with his current common-law wife.

And he's the most-loved man in your neighborhood.

Men can be ugly and get away with it, or sometimes their ugliness is actually partly what draws people to them. Women don't have it quite so easy in that regard.

At least we can wear makeup and pretty ourselves up a bit. Not many men can pull off makeup. I mean David Bowie yeah, but he was just enhancing his good looks.

The number one beauty tip I would give to men is, wear sunscreen. A lot of men have horribly damaged skin because they spend a lot of time int he sun and don't wear sunscreen.

The second beauty tip I would give is, shave back and shoulder hair if they have it.

Women like sex just as much as men do, they're turned on by hot guys. It's just that women are more discreet about their desires. What happens when a woman goes around saying how horny she is? She gets shamed by other women, she gets hit on by men she's not attracted to. So she has to be discreet for her own safety.

Maybe this applies more specifically to conservative women, but I can assure you from experience with older Texas church ladies it does not apply universally to conservative women. They simply have a pretty limited range of opportunities and ways to express their appreciation for the male body, but I've personally heard them commenting.

I just remembered that I had a coworker who said directly to me that she liked checking out guys dicks through their pants. Chef's pants show rather a lot, for loose pants, but I'm sure she had opportunities when she got things out of the deli case for customers. That was only the most extreme case of what I saw working in kitchens. That should cure anyone of the illusion that women always (or even generally) get grossed out by the male body. Go work in a kitchen.
