Physiological Effects of Repressed Feelings
So a couple years ago I was working at Walmart, and I was dating this girl but I was secretly in love with this other girl. I never told that girl how I felt about her and she left Walmart. After she left I felt depressed and disappointed in myself, so much so that I started throwing up all the time. I couldn't take my medications, I'd just throw them up afterwards, and this went on for over 3 weeks, until I ran out of medications and I didn't bother to get new ones because what is the point if I'm just going to throw them up? So I get crazier and crazier, and then I stop sleeping. I went without sleep for 7 days and the whole time I was repressing my feelings for this girl, and I decided to tell her. I was completely insane and after a few days of crazy messages she blocked me, but after that I stopped throwing up and I could go to sleep.
Has anyone else encountered physiological effects of repressing feelings?
