I found out today that I have lost 10.9 pounds. I hear that ten pounds is a clothing size. I'm a different size in shirts than pants and my shirts are getting looser and my size 20 jeans won't stay put on my waist (falling down when I sit).

So, is this true? That ten to 12 pounds is a clothing size?

I imagine that'd depend on where you lose the weight, I gained 5 pounds but my wears went down( can use next belt hole) congrats on losing 10 pounds . I'm hoping to lose weight again.

Yeah, that's what I've heard, and it correlates with my own experience as well.

It depends on your shape. Anywhere between 5 and 20 pounds, depending on height and body type.

So I dropped a size then. I had to get rid of several of my pants because they kept falling down and got too uncomfortable. I do not like pants hanging on me. It's also my motivation to not put on weight and to stay this thin and to keep working out. But the ones with elastic in the waist will still fit me and me dropping a size won't make a difference unless the elastic is worn out. If it has a tie in the waist, won't make a difference either.
