Was looking at that a little while ago. Both it and someone heard in media somewhere point out NK's history of making threats then letting go.

It could be interpreted as our president's bravado (something that used to be admired in a leader) both sufficiently intimidated NK and prompted China to finally get proactive against NK.

Not a big surprise really, they do this often. I don't think they ever intend on actually attacking, it's more like an act so Kim can look tough and bolster the regime.
