So, it is cool to delete anti Nazi statements now.

I suspect one of the mods here has a genuine pro-Nazi agenda, seeing as one of my anti-Nazi statements got the axe.

That is very sad.

I doubt that was why it got deleted. It was probably another reason.

Well, seeing as I just got a warning from a mod about making a stand against pro-Nazi sentiments on these forums, it is safe to say that the pro-Nazi sentiment is all too real here.

Yep, accusing just about everyone of havi pro-nazi statements is a personal attack.

Those posts were deleted as they were reported as personal attacks, I don't care what ideology you're discussing, personal attacks are out of line.

And their personal attacks are perfectly OK.

Heh.

Check now. I've cleared off anything that looks even potentially offensive.

For the record, I hate Trump, and I hate nazis, as they've done too much harm in my country, among so many other places. Google Jasenovac, if you're curious.

But accusing everyone of having some anti-nazi agenda is obviously against the rules.

OK, I'm backing off. I am overly emotional over what has been going on in Charlottesville. I'm outta here for a while.

Hope the break helps you. As a Jew this has been a tough week. We autistics get into negative thought loops at times.

Yeah the Charlottesville incident is very upsetting. I understand your feelings. It won't help with the forum but I installed something called Facebook Purity because I'm a lot like you and I get too invested in things I have little to no control over. Facebook Purity basically let's me filter out keywords. In my case I filtered out pretty much everything that is political. But the Charlotteville thing leaked through because it was such a hot topic! But it still helps a lot because it gets rid of all the upsetting BS. Some folks think this is me putting my head in the sand. But the way I see it voting season is over and I don't get to decide if some guy runs his car into a crowd of people or not because he thinks his opinions matter more than people. But I do get to decide if I'm going to get to have a good attitude and be nice to people.

So I got rid of the negativity.

My keywords included Donald, Trump, Hilary, Clinton, Bernie, Saunders, Republican, Democrat, Liberal, Conservative, Libitard, Conservatard, Nazi, Socialist, Hitler, Feminism, Politics

Anyways I was also able to use it to move my friends posts up and whitelist them so their posts don't get filtered out so I can actually enjoy socializing with them and interacting with their lives! It also let me remove that annoying recent events thing which purposely puts the political stuff that's upsetting everyone on the front of it. So annoying I hate it! :x

That Facebook Purity filter sounds like a great idea. After Charlottesville I just went ahead and deactivated my Facebook account. All the name calling, anger, and yelling on FB (Republican and Democrat) was too much. I also deleted all news apps off of my phone. Going to do a complete news blackout for two years (except for the weather). I will not read any WP threads related to news or politics during that time as well. I'm guessing my mental health will improve immensely.

My Facebook and Twitter feeds are a toxic mess of uninformed and vapid pandering to political ideals both sides of the fence. Makes me want to vomit.

Me too. I'm not sure why I didn't delete FB sooner. I was getting so depressed with all the political debates. I know some people enjoy that kind of discourse but I finally realized I'm not one of them.

f**k it. Delete my account. The way I see it, tolerance for Trump supporters equals tolerance for my imprisonment and my death by torture as an out gay man with a diagnosed disability.

I am serious. These are frightening times to be an out gay man in the USA, and it is even more frightening now that Trump is actively working on stripping away my civil rights as a human being.
