Hallo! How many of you guys know old formats like cassettes, reel to reel film, LaserDisc, VHS, Videodiscs, etc? I know a lot of formats like those. How many formats do you guys know?

Yep. I've got at least 200 VHS tapes and even a few Betamax ones, though no device for playing the latter. Also a few dozen audio cassettes.

Got hundreds of vinyl records, dozens of cassettes, and quite a few VHS tapes.

Update! When I said old formats, I also meant like not very well known or obscure formats as well! xD My bad!

APS film.
a film format for still-cameras that never caught on, and every photo cost a small fortune to develop. But it allowed for super wide panorama shots.

I know cassettes & VHS. I didn't start buying CDs until cassettes were really phasing out. My mom still uses VCRs because she likes being able to record in one room & watching in another, doesn't want to be pay more for her TV service & wants to keep things aLong time before watching sometimes.

There's video CDs (VCDs). They were used in Southeast Asia instead of VHS tapes.

Microcassettes

Those were used in answering machines back when answering machines used tapes.

Capacitance Electronic Discs (CED). They are like records, but play video instead of music.

8 track tapes

78 rpm vinyl records

16 mm reel-to-reel film. Have a couple of those.

Ampex helical scan video tape

I still frequently buy and use cassettes, VHS, and CD's. I even record my own mixtapes and know how to convert a VHS to digital video/DVD.

I also to a very limited extent use floppy discs from time to time. I don't use them, but we have some 5-1/4" "real" floppy discs in the basement and a computer to access them. I also have some 33RPM records, though I haven't played them in years.

Not sure if it counts or not, but I also have plenty of games for the Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, PS1, and PS2.

I currently don't have a way to play them, but I have some 8MM movies from the 50's and before.

Video High Density (VHD), Video 8, and Cartrivision.
