I am aware that this is going to come off a bit strange to some folks here, but I am constantly always the genie pig in class.

Meaning that teachers seem to always want me to present to the class or help students out.
I don't certainly have any issue helping out but it tends to happen a lot.

I've taught a class personally before and know what it's like to be a teacher but generally, none of the teachers knew i taught since they teach at a different department at the college.

Since turning down the teaching contract, I essentially became a student and just took courses to save $$ at this college but all of the classes I've been in thus far the teachers seem to want me to be a leader all of the time and speak to the class, or help out, tutor.

It just seems like maybe they are choosing me to lead because of my Asperger.
I did visit the teachers lounge a few times but they were never there personally.

Also these teachers have never asked other students to speak in front of the class or tutor or help with projects for groups. It's only been me and I sort of feel like a teacher's pet.

Has this happen to you?
How did you respond to it?
