This is the outcome I expected.

a. Act weird around a cop
b. that lets the cop say, "I feared for my life"
c. therefore, the cop is justified in killing the "perp"

"Acquitted" means he was found not-guilty.

Plenty of guilty people have been acquitted, especially when the defendant wears a badge, and the victim is black.
