Hi All,
I'm 59. Father of 4. Husband of a woman in the spectrum so she's probably Aspergers. Just to add flavor, she is diagnosed with PTSD and DID. And yes, she's a wonderful woman and potentially the only one on the planet who shows any likelyhood of understanding me. Neither of us has any type of autism diagnosis, but people (supposedly in the know constantly say that I am high functioning Aspergers. Since it is likely to generate lots of emotional twisting, I am unlikely to seek a diagnosis. What exactly would be the point anyway.
3 of our 4 kids seem to be on the spectrum also. The 4th could I suppose have a very light case.
We just had an emotion twisting discussion on the porch about my hating my life because I don't have any friends. And I'm always in trouble at work for not communicating in a socially acceptable way, and ... So, she sent me into my room to sign up here. So here I am!
