I had 8-track tapes in the '70s and could not grasp the idea of "less is more" when cassettes came out. However, I later had no problem switching from 5-1/4" to 3-1/2" floppies...

Old technology is the best! Looking at obsolete tech in images and videos is interesting and exciting to look at. ;)

A friend of mine in the '80s had an Osborne 1 I would guess she still owns -- $1795.00 USD in 1981 -- and likely still works!

edit: The Osborne ran the CP/M operating system that almost became the standard before IBM selected MS-DOS after Bill Gates had first suggested IBM consider the Digital Research system...

Cartridge game systems. I got a Super Nintendo shortly after it was out but it cr@pped out years ago so I bought a duel system that also plays NES games. I also got the 64 after it was out abit. My cousin gave me his Sega Genesis years ago too. I still play those systems sometimes.

I had a fondness for MiniDisks or the CD Caddy that never took off for some reason. I mean go figure, a product that encases the disks so they don't get scratched to s**t.
