Hey,

Hope you are all well.

What advice can peeps give for people with Aspergers who are trying to nap in the day? I can do it when really physically tired, but it's a challenge.

Any suggestions will do
Thanks,
Tim x

I nap during the day during weekends. Around maybe 2 PM to 5 PM or so, usually.

During the week, I can't nap. I'm working those hours.

I have a nap every day, except Sundays. But in the week I have a nap after work, usually about 3.30pm-5.30pm. The reason why I nap is because I don't really know what else to do at this time of the day. After work I am often tired anyway, and on my days off I am more productive and/or busy during the morning and early afternoon and evening, but between about 3pm-5.30pm I get restless, and the only way to relax during this time is to have a kip.

Naps don't generally affect my night sleep, unless I nap too much during the day and not do much else. People often criticise me for having daytime naps. But it's like a medidation thing to me.

Are you wanting/needing to nap because you know you will have to be up late that night? Would quiet time with a book, jigsaw puzzle or some other activity work as well?
