Whats up with this place?

Very frequently I have posting and loading problems with WP. Doesnt matter how I try to log on. At first I thought it was wonky wifi and or a slow connection, but I have the same problems everywhere. Very frequently the site stops because of what the computer describes as a "long running script". I'm not a computer guy, but that sounds like a programming problem to me.

You have problems with your computer, or your internet connection.
I used to have the same problem, upgraded my laptop, no problems anymore.

Doesnt matter if I try to post from a tablet, laptop, or a desktop, always the same.

I've been having some issues too. It's like the website is hanging up or something. When I try other websites, they are working fine, so I don't think it's a wifi issue.

I had something similar happen a few times and the problem was persistent on both my PC and tablet until I logged in again. Until I did another log-in, the webpage would spin on some script. Sometimes WP times out your log-in session and it isn't obvious. Just an idea. :wink:

This site is erratic, but sometimes the problems I get are from some stray script still running from another website. Every week there are new tricks in the ad biz, and they screw things up. About 90% of my processor and bandwidth are running ads, not content.

That must be why Ass P has big problems posting. A flip phone just doesn't have the memory to keep up with the adds or the speed to not get timed out.

This site usually slows down at certain times of day. Maybe marginal hardware should avoid those hours.

I described this place to the computer guy at work. He says it sounds way to glitchy for it to not be a programming problem.
