No surprise there. The NRA's money got him elected. Of course they will not talk about something that could hurt the gun industries profits.

It probably is timely to reflect on why these mass shootings are increasing (if they are increasing).

You got it! A+

Rule 1 of Politics: Always follow the money. Remember that politicians aren't always loyal to those who voted for them, though they always remain loyal to the blokes who financially funded their campaign.

Maybe it's just better to take a couple of days to focus on the tragedy, the victims and their families and the wounded, before using the situation politically.

Mass shootings in the country have been increasing

Overall crime is down

I think it is a vicious cycle of each mass shooting triggering others.

I thought it was the Russians?

Wait...do you guys just flip-flop your opinions in order to politicise a tragedy? That's pretty sad.

Blatantly obvious and indeed sad.

In addition to that it's obvious cyberdad is simply deeply into bashing Americans, as exemplified in his claim that US military personnel are covered in Nazi tattoos and hang out at tourist hotel pools to leer at young girls.

They were navy personel (allegedly according to the concierge) with swastikas tattooed on their backs and they were with their families (wives and children).

You mean the relationship between guns and violent crime?

We can thank the NRA for their contributions

No, I mean the fact that you change the reason Trump got elected to suit the situation you are looking to politicise.

(spoiler alert: the *real* reason he got elected is democracy)

Sure thing. Too bad you didn't take any pictures. But anyways back to you getting off on telling us Americans how lousy we are.

It's been increasing ever since Bush repealed Clinton's assault weapons ban.

I don't think Cyberdad is bashing America. I'll have to defend him on that. I think he's rational enough to know that American soldiers don't all have Nazi symbols as tattoos.

I believe he has a liberal agenda, like some here have a conservative agenda.
