I'm David.
I'm new here.
I was born with Asperger's Syndrome, but I was diagnosed just a year ago, in October '16, at age 59. I am NOT here for self-promotion. I'm not sure why I'm here other than to possibly meet other aspies, to learn more about it, and maybe to offer comfort to others. I'm quite comfortable in my own skin. It took a long time to get here.

That said, I am writing posts for a blog. It will not be as much about Asperger's as about points of view from my Asperger's mind. But there may be posts about Asperger's that I haven't written yet.

I'm new to the diagnosis as well, and this forum is really helpful for me. I've gained a lot of comfort and understanding from the people on here, and I've barely been here for a week.
I hope (and think) it's going to be helpful for you as well.
