I wish somebody would make a sodium-reduced sharp cheddar.

During my travels in the USA, I was shocked by the degree of sugar and salt in foods. A lot of it is obscured under codes and misleading labels, though it is there. Very thirsty one day, I bought a bottle of iced tea, which I had often had in New Zealand and Italy, a pleasant drink that is not overly sweet. (The Italian one is least sweet and the best).
I took one mouthful of the USA iced tea, had to spit it out and throw the bottle away, it was like treacle to me.

I love blue cheese dressings on salads :)))

I only drink sugar-free stuff [usually sweetened with stevia or such], so when I taste regular sugar now and then it is overpoweringly sweet. is the blue cheese dressing in NZ less salty than it is here?

This may not count but I really like Cheetos. I don't like the puffs but most of the rest are really good especially the jalapeno 1s

I make my own as the commercial stuff has too little cheese and too many additives.

Blender recipe:

pinch of salt
pinch of sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1 cup olive oil
2 ounces of crumbled blue cheese

Adjust the seasoning to suit your own taste after blending.

My girlfriend is very unhappy cuz she really likes cheese & lost all she had cuz our fridge broke. She had got some of what she had at Cabot & we have no way of going back there. Some she hadn't even opened. Hopefully she'll can find it at a local or regional grocery store cuz they sell some Cabot cheese
