I brought a new phone yesterday at AT&T, do I still need to buy SIM memory card?

The SIM card identifies your phone number. If they gave you a phone number it has the SIM card.

No they should have given a sim card and acrivated it for you during the purchase. Of course if you already a sim card than you just put that one in the phone.

The only time you should be talking about SIM cards is when you want to trade phones with someone. Say you want to give your old phone to a relative. You can then swap SIM cards, so your relative can now use your old phone with their phone number.

The sim card should already be inside your phone if you have activated its service. Otherwise youd have no connection with an assigned phone number. Im not familiar with tge iphone as i use and prefere android, byt if you have any more tech questions, PM me.

When you go to the store, the sales person should be able to remove the sim card and put it in the new phone with little to no interaction on your part.
And no, sim cards are used to idenitfy your serivce and phone number amd woumd switch them to the new phone. Unless the sum card has changed format.

I got my iPhone already, it came with a number. I Love my new iPhone, it’s an iPhone 6, it’s easy with Touch ID since the passcode is 6 numbers now. Why iPhone 6 has Wi-Fi Calling? I can make calls with my old iPhone.

With Wi-Fi Calling, you can make or receive a phone call if you have a Wi-Fi connection in an area with little or no cellular coverage. Learn how to make a voice call using Wi-Fi Calling.
