Hello - I just joined this site.

My 9 year old daughter is in the process of being diagnosed with Asperger's. It's not confirmed yet, but that's what it's looking like. I joined this site for information, support, and people going through similar experiences.

It's been a very difficult few weeks. I'm a deer in the headlights. Any pointers, tips or even just a friendly hello would be great.

I'll probably be mostly lurking at first. I just wanted to say hello.

Hello :)
You didn't say if you were on the spectrum yourself, your post sounded NT (neurological typical) is that correct? I ask because it would affect my reply, not because you are not welcome. I am an Aspie (Asperger's) adult female by the way. :D

Hi, and thanks for replying! I am NT - at least I’ve never been diagnosed with any spectrum-related diagnosis. I see a lot of myself in my daughter, though.
