Ugh. Bread these days contains feces? Gross.

A lot of bread these days contains cellulose, which is wood pulp.
Lovely.

Bread tends to halt my digestive process, so I avoid it.

And about bread, it depends what’s in the bread. Most bread these days contains chemicals and s**t. Organic bread with just whole wheat, yeast, and a little bit of sugar is healthy. Even better, making your own whole wheat bread without added sugar is even healthier. You can eat it fresh out of the oven!

I don't eat much bread either, just don't care for it much, but there are definitely differences. A slice of cheap white sandwich bread is practically a confection. But handmade organic sourdough, for example, without additives and sometimes, even without sugar is using stevia as a substitute, is a lot better for you. Blanket terms are hardly ever completely accurate.

It seems everything on Wrong Planet eventually degenerates into a marijuana debate / discussion.

This is why I eat cake instead.

If you need carbs you'd be better off having rice instead of bread. Preferably served with vindaloo.

Rice cakes aren't as good as real cake. I like breadsticks and a big slice of buttered garlic cheese bread. Not to mention pizza. And subs. And the greatest food of all: doughnuts.

No, not rice cakes, rice with vindaloo. Nice and spicy! :)

As long as we’re talking about bread and pot, I take it that pot-flavored bread is extremely unhealthy?

The tooth damage found in the remains of ancient Egyptians is not decay but extreme wear. The grains were milled using coarse stones, and being unable to filter out the grit, the Egyptians chewed it along with finished bread, and it was like sandpaper on the teeth.

I bet they at least had adequate roughage.

I wish I could get some of those to try pot. I have sinus & allergy problems & smoke aggravates it so I never took up smoking or anything & being illegal here(for now anyway but hopefully won't be next year) kind of discourages me from wanting to try. My girlfriend has fibromyalgia & has alot of pain sometimes along with anxiety & depression. She never tried pot either partly because she has asthma. I think poot could potentially help her if she didn't have to smoke it.

Good idea but I don't have a clue where to get em while pot is illegal & I'm not sure if the medical marijuana dispensaries would sell em if my girlfriend were to get approved for it. There's probably other things her doc would want to try 1st.
