I consider myself 100% female, although I do have some "masculine" mannerisms, clothing and interests.

The waters of the port were choppy. After I set off, there was a long, massive storm.
Years later, however, the sea calmed. I'm still on tranquil sea, but I'll never reach the Neurotypical Beach.

In terms of biology/sex I am female and I'm ok with that.

However gender is fluid as technically it's who we are as a person and doesn't necessarily need to be defined as male or female gender.
However I do think people mix the two up.

For example I identify as female as I am biologically female, but to me that does dictate who I am.
I don't make my decisions based on the fact that I'm female.
yes biology can become unavoidable, but even then so many other factors come into play.

I don't think it needs to be defined, if it's you, it's you.

I'm male, but very different from the males around here. I don't hunt, don't like NASCAR or watch sportsball, I dislike violence on TV (much less perpetrate it), I don't harass or denigrate women or minorities, don't like getting drunk, don't find willful ignorance to be a source of pride, I don't litter or drive like it's a competitive contact sport, I don't "dip" snuff, I'm not loud, aggressive, or belligerent, I don't cheer when we bomb defenseless Third-World countries, guns don't give me a hard-on, and I find rabid nationalism and shallow plastic patriotism repugnant. I can't even imagine being so insecure as to need to "prove" my "manhood."
If someone considered me to be "feminine" because I'm nurturing, sensitive (overly so sometimes), and attentive to my mate, that would be OK with me, because I don't think being feminine (or a woman) is shameful.
