Horses are my longest-running special interest. I used to work at a place with draft horses and one of my coworkers used to jokingly warn class participants not to ask me about different kinds of driving bits unless they wanted a full 40 minute dissertation on the subject.

-Software synthesizers (Currently Pure Data, I just can't afford real actual synths and that's fine with me)
-Brain wave entrainment and making such audio files (with gnaural or Brainwave Generator) and putting them on youtube.
-Making CGI with Blender
-Politics and news.
-Reading random medical and biochemical papers.

Possibly Aspie (diagnosed by an autism expert, doc moves abroad, forced to change docs and all say it's schizophrenia NOS or schizo-affective disorde or personality disorders. initial doc was a colleague of uncle Simon btw. you do the math.). (edit: by Uncle Simon I mean Simon Baron Cohen. Just to clear things up.)

Anything related to the natural history of the coast and seashore. At any one time I tend to get obsessed with one particular aspect such as seabirds or seaweed. I usually stick to things related to the coasts of the UK as I like to be able to easily go and see things for myself as well as reading about them. I have always lived on the coast and would hate to live inland. Luckily I have a lovely beach just a couple of minutes walk from my house. I have always loved the coast and seashore.

I checked euphoric in the poll. I tend to get really excited just thinking about my interests.

There is nothing "wrong" with having a "special interest".

There is nothing wrong with "focusing" on a "special interest".

If Alexander Graham Bell or Thomas Edison or the inventor of the steam locomotive were told that having a "special interest" was bad and they should not "have their head in the clouds" (llike my Aunt thought of me) then where would we be now?

There'd be NO cell phones, no radio, no television, no microwave communications or fibre optics. No CDs or DVDs or Laserdiscs or 46 RPM records.

NTs are just jealous of us "dreamers" "inventors" "creative people".

Don't let their words or "projections" hurt you.

I don't really have a special interest besides my girlfriend & a celeb crush. The celeb crush has been going on for many years & started when I was single.

I love video games in general... and I'm just not great. I don't suck I guess, but for my level of love for them and the number of hours spent dedicated to them over my life... I really should be better at it.
