I just watched this movie called Welcome to Me today on Netflix. Has anyone else seen it? I found it interesting because in the movie she says "I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder now it's called borderline personality disprder." But to me it is obvious in the movie that the character has Asperger's Syndrome. Just curious if anyone else has seen it or has an opinion on it. I liked it but I wish there were more movies with women on the Specteum that weren't making fun of them. And that actually acknowledge their appropriate diagnosis with a little less ignorance. Interesting to me that they have shows like Atypical and The Big Bang theory but really none about women (in not a huge fan of those shows either though as they too really perpetuate stale stereotypes imho)

Yes, but I watched it before I knew about asd. I love Kristen Wiig. I will have to watch it again. Now that I am learning about asd, I see it everywhere. Attention bias.
