In the 70’s and 80’s despite statutory rape laws men having sex with minors was celebrated in the culture. Ringo Starr and Kiss had hit songs with “You’re 16” “Christine Sixteen(Love Gun)” respectively. Rock bands having groupies in each city they toured was part of what made people think they were cool.

As an aspie I never came close to having the opportunity and even if I did I probably would have embarrassed myself trying. I like to tell myself I would have done the right thing but deep down inside I know that if scantily clad teen girls were throwing themselves at me I very well might have done the wrong thing.
